Tips On How To Relieve Painful Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids aren’t an extremely dangerous medical condition, although they can be extremely uncomfortable for those who are suffering from them. Many would prefer to never have hemorrhoids and take steps to prevent them. However, there are still a number of people who suffer from hemorrhoids at some time in their life. If you are ever faced with hemorrhoids you will likely want information on how to relieve painful hemorrhoids.
Consider the following tips to help prevent hemorrhoids and learn how to relieve painful hemorrhoids. Softening your stool is one of the primary ways to prevent hemorrhoids. You can do this either by eating a more fiber packed diet or increasing your water intake. However, if neither of these options work then you should consider asking your doctor about using a laxative.
Although prevention won’t do you much good if you find out you have a hemorrhoid. Once you have a hemorrhoid you will need to focus on how to relive painful hemorrhoids. A good way to do this is to consider some of the following techniques until the hemorrhoid is gone.
Relieving Hemorrhoids
A large part of how to relieve painful hemorrhoids is done by improving the way you have bowel movements. You should only move your bowels when you have the urge to do so and don’t spend excess time on the toilet trying to move your bowels. Along these lines it is important that you go to the bath right away when your body has the urge for a bowel movement.
However, there are also lifestyle changes that you can use to help you learn how to relieve painful hemorrhoids. Your digestive system will be able to work more efficiently with regular exercise. The proper method for how to relieve painful hemorrhoids requires a lengthy walk at a brisk pace but do not do any strenuous exercise.
If you don’t have much time for a walk and your job requires you to sit all day then a good idea is to try and sit with doughnut shaped cushion which can help take pressure off sensitive areas. You should also try to take the time out of a work schedule to take at least a few short walking breaks a couple times a day to keep your digestive system working. Another important part of relieving hemorrhoids is cleanliness.
Your rectal area should be kept clean at all times. Proper cleaning should involve plain water as a rinse, then pat dry and dust with cornstarch powder. There are pre-moistened wipes that can be used but they are a little more expensive. However, some people experience irritation with these wipes.
It is a good idea to take a sitz bath three to four times a day for at least thirty minutes. To do this you should sit in six inches of warm water on a doughnut cushion or a towel twisted in a circle. The painful area can even be soothed with a warm moistened washcloth if you can’t take a full size bath.

Natural Remedy for Hemorrhoids and Constipation
About half of the population in the U.S.A. will suffer from hemorrhoids at some point in life. Although hemorrhoids occur in almost everyone, they become large and cause problems in only 4 percent of the general population. Hemorrhoids do not usually go away completely once you have them. They can get improved, however, so that living with them is tolerable. Living with hemorrhoids can become intolerable especially when they are accompanied with constipation. On the other hand, continuous constipation can became the main cause for development of initial hemorrhoids and their further growth. In order to avoid constipation and to ensure regular stools, practitioners suggest diet rich in fiber and drinking eight or more glasses of water each day… but this is easier said than done.
If you aren’t able to eat enough high-fiber food or if you still suffer from constipation and hemorrhoids we suggest the following natural remedy based on common herbs:
- Boil one cup of Chamomile tea (Latin name: Matricaria recutia) and wait to chill for 5 minutes.
- Put one spoon Psyllium Seeds (Plantago Psyllium) in the cup and leave it for 30 minutes.
- Drink the mixture every day before bedtime.
- Don’t forget to drink a lot of water during the day.
(The needed herbs are available over the counter in the most pharmacies)
Regular consumption of the suggested herbal mixture will not only regulate your stool but also will help hemorrhoids to shrink as a result of the ingredients in the herbs and their combined effects. Children under two years, pregnant women and people allergic to dust or grass should avoid Psyllium.
Using natural herbal remedies to treat hemorrhoids is the best way to improve your general health, to avoid expensive surgeries or bothersome and long term conventional treatments. Sometimes the natural medicine has more efficient and less expensive therapies than the conventional medicine. When the hemorrhoids are in question, we can say that the conventional medicine has failed.
This natural remedy is not cure for hemorrhoids but it should relief hemorrhoidal pain, reduce rectal bleeding and will make living whit hemorrhoids much easier at no or very small cost.

Can we cure hemorrhoids without applying any treatments of any sorts?
I mean will it vanish naturally? or is itonce it is there it will be there for ever without any chances of getting it out?
Hemorrhoids can and will heal if the strain causing them is removed.
Supplement your diet with extra high fiber foods and/or take a fiber supplement such as Metamucil or Citrucel. Don’t strain when you have a bowel movement – this can make it worse.
If you have a minor hemorrhoid problem, it may heal over the course of a couple weeks. If this is a problem that has been going on for some time, it could take much longer to heal or require medical treatment.
Also, do not use any ointments with hydrocortisone in it, such as Preparation H. After regular and prolonged use, these ointments can weaken the tissue down there so that hemorrhoids are more likely to occur. Ointments with phenylephrine are OK to use regularly.
Take care,
What is the revolutionary treatment to shrink or remove external hemorrhoids?
Looking for alternative method to avoid surgery. Please provide centers or clinics in Southern California if you can find one. I have external hemorrhoids, so please do not recommend rubber banding method. Thank you all.
You do not need clinic. I would recommend sage extract (make it by yourself: tbsp of sage and 100 ml boiled water, let it stay covered until warm) into the rectum. It is good to do this procedure before you go to bed, you supposed to lay down. The extract will be absorbed.
You’ll see the relief right away after first procedure. You can do it once a day up to 10 procedures. Most probably 5-7 will be enough.
Wish you well.
Easing Piles or Hemorrhoids Naturally
Piles, as they are commonly called hemorrhoids are swollen varicose veins in the anus or rectum. Piles are usually the result of exerting pressure during bowel movements, pregnancy or obesity.
Causes of Piles
1. Piles can be hereditary with innate weakness of the vein walls.
2. In men, as a result of erect posture high pressure is created in rectal veins.
3. Exerting pressure due to constipation and over purgation.
4. Dysentery could worsen latent hemorrhoids.
5. Piles is also common among pregnant women.
Symptoms of piles
Typical symptoms of piles include inflamed, painful lump or swelling in the region of the anus. Oftentimes this causes bleeding, leaving blood in the stools, in the toilet bowl or on the toilet paper. Other symptoms might include mucous discharge, itching and a distressing dragging sensation during bowel movement. When going through these symptoms it is best to get a medical examination to rule out other more serious digestive conditions.
Some other symptoms of piles are pain and discomfort after opening the bowels1 and a feeling that the bowels have not completely emptied. Still, there are conditions besides piles that could cause anal bleeding. If this happens for more than six weeks it is best to seek medical advice.
Easing piles naturally
Keep the affected area clean, clean with water only (no perfumed soap) after every bowel motion and pat dry with a clean soft tissue, this should help with itching.
The following supplements may help if you are suffering from Haemorrhoids (piles).
1. Extracts of horse chestnut
2. Flavonoids
3. Gotu kola
4. Psyllium
5. Vitamin C
6. Witch hazel
Diet for piles
Piles are closely connected to constipation and this is why diet can make a good impact in clearing up piles. Your diet should include lots of fiber. This is to be found in whole grains, vegetables and fruit. See that you have loads of mineral water and stop having spicy foods. Psyllium husks supplements are good since they are high in fiber and help get rid of constipation. Softer stools help empty the bowels easier and decreases the pressure on piles caused by straining. Also wheatgrass juice, it is found, abets better digestion. Besides, green juices provide easy assimilation of nutrients particularly in cases of poor digestion or immuno-suppression.
It is better to avoid highly refined foods such as white, rice, white bread, pastries, cakes, pies. Also steer clear of alcohol, since it is known to contribute to small, dry stools. Lastly keep away from acid forming foods like sugar, animal protein, dairy, and coffee.

Some Of The Most Common Causes Of Hemorrhoids Include Genetics, Constipation And Ruptured Veins
Having a hemorrhoid condition can often lead to the patient having jokes cracked about his or her condition. It is however, not a very funny matter and deserves to be taken seriously, and if you happen to be the unfortunate one that has hemorrhoids you will certainly not be amused by being laughed at given the fact that it is an extremely painful experience that you would not wish your worst enemy to suffer.
Hemorrhoids can also lead to other serious health concerns, if it is left untreated. You may have either internal or external hemorrhoids with the latter being more painful, though internal hemorrhoids can cause bleeding in the rectum as well.
You can be sure that the cause of hemorrhoids will most probably be a rupture of a vein, which will cause blood to spill from the rupture and even turn into a blood clot. This is the springboard from where hemorrhoids can exacerbate into one of the two forms – internal or external hemorrhoids.
Possible Causes
The cause of hemorrhoids may also be a genetic factor where the rectal veins may not be strong enough, and thus may easily get ruptured resulting in hemorrhoids. Another cause of hemorrhoids could be straining too much while passing motion, and this is a common cause of hemorrhoids that may even occur in a person that has strong veins, but need to strain excessively, thus rupturing a vein.
If you are overweight, then this is another probable cause of hemorrhoids, and it is a condition more pronounced in obese persons who are always going to be at greater risk of developing hemorrhoids. Not exercising enough too can be adduced as being a cause of hemorrhoids; while continuing problems with a person’s bowel movements is it diarrhea or constipation may help in the person developing hemorrhoids.
The instance of pregnant women developing hemorrhoids is also quite common and the childbearing period is another time when a person will likely suffer from hemorrhoids. Thus pregnancy can also be linked to being a cause of hemorrhoids. Age does not seem to impact whether a person is at risk of developing hemorrhoids or not, and anyone of any gender may get it.
You may also attribute standing to be a cause of hemorrhoids, which causes blood to pressurize the rectal as well as anal areas. Constipation too is a cause of hemorrhoids as is frequently putting too much stress when having bowel movements. Being erect can cause hemorrhoids due to the amount of pressure placed on the veins in the anal parts of the human body.
